We are pleased to announce that Special Events Hawaiʻi and Pacific Expos, both producers of distinct successful expos, have joined together for the 7th year to produce the MELE KALIKIMAKA MARKETPLACE on December 14 & 15, 2024 in the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
The Mele Kalikimaka Marketplace is Honolulu’s Gift and Craft Fair, a one-stop local holiday shop catering to visitors and residents who are looking for made in Hawaiʻi products, holiday gifts and crafts.
The 2-day event is anticipated to be Hawaii’s premier local holiday shopping emporium, showcasing local food products, made in Hawaiʻi products, gifts, books, apparel, jewelry, crafts, and other consumer goods. In years past, we plan to feature local gourmet gifts, prepackaged gift baskets, holiday pop up shops, a Candy Land, Ben Franklin Make and Take Crafts, year-end inventory specials from manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and more. Enjoy festive holiday activities while they shop from over 250 vendors to enjoy.
The Mele Kalikimaka Marketplace is a joint venture between Pacific Expos and Special Events Hawaiʻi. Pacific Expos is one of the largest event and promotions company producing trade shows in the state for over 22 years including the Food and New Product Expo and Big Boys Toys Show and Foodie Con Spring Expo.
Special Events Hawaiʻi is one of the largest promoters and producers of large scale community events for 32 years having promoted and produced the Made in Hawaiʻi Festival for 26 years and launched the event online as well as produced many other events including the ʻUkulele Festival, Hawaiʻi Book and Music Festival, Best of Honolulu Festival, Hawaiʻi Chocolate Festival, Kailua Town Party, ESPN Hawaiʻi Sports Festival, Kauaʻi Chocolate & Coffee Festival and more.

The Neal S. Blaisdell Center is located between downtown Honolulu and Waikiki Beach, near world-famous Ala Moana Center and the Kakaako Waterfront, with quick access to the H1 freeway.
DIRECTIONS
From the Airport:
Take the H-1 Freeway East (towards Waikiki) for approximately 5 miles. Exit the freeway onto
Kinau Street, and stay in the right exit lane – which then becomes the center lane on Kinau Street.
Make a right turn at the 2nd stop light (onto Victoria Street). This street will continue for 3 blocks
and go directly into our parking structure (after crossing King Street).
From Waikiki:
Take Ala Moana Boulevard West Bound (toward the airport) for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Ward Avenue, and continue for about 1 mile. You will see the Arena, Exhibition Hall and Concert Hall to your right. Turn right onto King Street (after you have passed the complex). The entrance to the parking structure is at the next stop light.
PARKING INFORMATION
There is a two level, 2,000 stall, parking structure accessible from entrances on King / Victoria Street and Kapiolani Boulevard.

King Street Gate
This is the main entrance to the Blaisdell Parking Lot. The gate opens at 5:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday. The gate closes at 6:00 p.m. on all evenings with no event scheduled. The gate closes 45 minutes after the last event is completed. On Sundays and Holidays, gate operation is determined by events.
Kapiolani Gate
This entrance is closed when there are no events scheduled. Only cardholders can access this gate when it is unattended. Signs are posted to direct non-card holders to the King Street entrance. This gate will also be open two hours prior to the opening of all major events scheduled in the central areas and will remain open until the completion of the last event.
Ward Avenue Gate
This is a service entrance and is closed to the general public. Prior arrangements with the Blaisdell Center Management and APCOA must be made for any further use of this gate. It is used for “move-in” and/or “move-out” of the central areas or the Concert Hall as needed.
Box Office Parking
Box Office Parking is open for ticket buyers only. Parking for the patrons of the Box Office is free. If Box Office Parking is full, ticket buyers may enter through the King Street Gate. The ticket buyers will be re-funded the parking fee after they validate their ticket at the Box Office.
Nearby Public Parking
Metered parking is available behind the municipal building between King and Beretania and Alapai and Punchbowl Streets. Entrances are available on both Alapai and Beretania.
Nearby Commercial Parking
There is a parking lot at 439 Kamani Street.
